Aleppo’s Armenian-populated district comes under rocket fire, 3 injured

Armenian-populated district of Suleymaniye of Aleppo again came under rocket fire yesterday, the press service of Berio Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church said.

Three Armenians suffered injuries. They were immediately hospitalized and received the necessary medical aid. One of them, 13-year-old Karo Palian, was wounded in the abdomen and underwent 4-hour surgery.

On April 29 Raffi Hakimian was hit by a stray bullet, while on April 30 a Syrian army servicemen of Armenian descent, William Margarian, 25, was killed in action.
