Tumo Center for Creative Technologies to be set up in Stepanakert

Prime Minister of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Ara Harutyunian received members of the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) to discuss the creation of Tumo Center for Creative Technologies in Stepanakert, according to the press office of the NKR government.

Ara Harutyunian stressed the initiative’s importance in terms of developing IT sector in the NKR. He welcomed the willingness of the AGBU to finance the project. In his words, the government is prepared to provide maximum assistance so the program can be implemented as soon as possible.

During the meeting, an agreement was reached to immediately start repairs of the Center’s temporary building so that it could open its doors to pupils in the coming months. A number of organizational issues related to the choice of a building and work management were also discussed.
