“Our paths will diverge if government program is not implemented”

At the start of the government session today Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamian addressed the members of the new cabinet.

“The government has been formed completely and I congratulate us all. We are working on a program which, as required by the Constitution of Armenia, shall be submitted to the National Assembly within 20 days,” Hovik Abrahamian said. In his words, the program should be realistic, while changes should not become an end in itself.

“Discussions have already begun. Armen Gevorgian regularly reports on discussion results. Each government member bears responsibility for the efficiency and implementation of the program,” the prime minister said.

According to him, paths will diverge with those members of the government who will fail to implement the submitted program.

“Our paths will diverge with those members of the government who will not implement the submitted program, no matter how long we have worked together,” Hovik Abrahamian stressed.
