Ohanian: Next generation will defend homeland better than we do

“We should be more considerate to our veterans. We are indebted to our grandfathers, our fathers, our veterans. But for them, there would not have been a lasting peace after World War II,” Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanian told journalists.

In his words, the present generation is raised in the spirit of their predecessors' heroism.

“We managed to win the Karabakh war. I am convinced that the next generation will defend the homeland better than we do. And they will do their best to avoid a war,” the minister said.
