Sargsyan and Hollande attend Manouchian Park opening ceremony

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and French President Francois Hollande attended the opening ceremony of a park that is located in downtown Yerevan and was renamed after Missak Manouchian. Francois Hollande is on a two-day state visit to Armenia.

Missak Manouchian was a famous poet of Armenian descent, a National Hero of France, well known for his leadership in the French Resistance.

The two presidents thanked the organizers and those present for their participation in the event honoring the memory of M. Manouchian.
