Sargsyan: Carrefour will join list of 80 French companies in Armenia

Armenian-French relations have reached a level of privileged partnership, President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan stated today at the joint press conference with French President Francois Hollande.

President Sargsyan stressed that close cooperation has been established among 35 cities and regions of Armenia and France.

“Today I am signing seven agreements aimed at strengthening economic links. In two days we have held constructive discussions addressing most important issues,” the president noted.

He reminded those present that the French side invested over $1 billion in Armenia.

“Carrefour hypermarket chain will join the list of about 80 French companies operating in Armenia,” Serzh Sargsyan declared.
