Seyran Ohanyan receives Russian ambassador to Armenia

Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan received today Russian Ambassador to Armenia Ivan Volynkin in connection with the introduction of newly-appointed military and air attaché of the Russian embassy in Armenia, according to the press service of Defense Ministry.

Seyran Ohanyan congratulated military and air attaché Major General S. Ischenko on his appointment and thanked Colonel A. Lobov who has completed his military diplomatic mission in Armenia.

On the same day Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces Yuri Khachaturov and First Deputy Defense Minister of Armenia David Tonoyan met with Major General S. Ischenko.

The current issues of Armenian-Russian military cooperation and ways of their development were discussed at the meeting.
