NKR president awards statistical service employees

President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan received a group of employees of the NKR National Statistical Service (NSS) along with the NSS chairman Karen Nersisyan, the press service of NKR President’s Office reported.

The president offered his congratulations on the 90th anniversary of the creation of the statistical service and handed state awards and valuable gifts to a number of employees.

Issues related to the NSS activities were discussed at the meeting. President Sahakyan underlined the important role of the National Statistical Service in the republic’s life, noting that an impartial and clear idea and an analysis of the socioeconomic situation depends to a large extent on work of this structure.

On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the statistical system of Nagorno Karabakh, Bako Sahakyan signed a decree on awards.

By the decree, member of the State Statistical Council of the NKR Ms. Susanna Harutyunyan and the head of the Hadrut regional unit of the NSS Staff Arthur Sargsyan were awarded the Gratitude Medal for their long efficient service.

The president also signed a decree on valuable gifts.
