Raczynski: Armenia cannot yet specify spheres of cooperation with EU
Armenia cannot specify spheres of cooperation with the European Union until it joins the Customs Union, Polish Ambassador to Armenia Zdzislaw Raczynski told reporters today when commenting on the French president’s statement that the EU can propose a new association model for Armenia.
“We declared that we are prepared to cooperate in spheres where there are no contradictions with the Customs Union. The problem is that Armenia cannot yet specify these spheres because it is not a Customs Union member yet,” the ambassador said.
He added that membership in some union or other should contribute to the welfare of a country and its people.
