3 of those injured in May 17 shooting are in serious but stable condition

The five people injured in May 17 shooting near Vernisage area in downtown Yerevan are in stable condition, Aysor.am was informed by Alexandra Harutyunyan, spokeswoman of the city clinical hospital No 1.

“Norayr Harutyunyan, 30, and Albina Badalyan, 64, are in satisfactory condition, while the condition of Valery Hovhannisyan, Mnatsakan Hayrapetyan, 72, and Ishkhan Sukiasyan, 30 is serious but stable,” the spokeswoman said.

Five people received wounds in the May 17 shooting near Vernisage area on Khanjian Street in Yerevan. Today 29-year-old Gor A. suspected of the ‘Vernisage shooting’ has surrendered to the police. He was taken to the Central Investigative Department, according to the police press service.

Gor A. also surrendered his Makarov pistol, from which he fired. He was arrested. An investigation is underway.
