17 brucellosis cases reported in Geghashen village

17 residents of Geghanist village in Armenia’s Kotayk province came down with brucellosis, Aysor.am was informed by Armenian Health Ministry spokeswoman Anahit Haytayan.

According to her, 464 people who came in contact with infected animals and dairy products have been tested. Locals were given disinfectants to clean the area.

All the patients have already been released from hospital. District doctors continue their treatment at home.
