Hovik Abrahamyan: We should develop roadmap for European integration

Armenia will continue strengthening its relations with the European Union, Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan stated today during discussion of the government program in the National Assembly, in response to independent deputy Edman Marukyan’s question concerning the foreign policy of Armenia.

In his words, it is necessary to develop a roadmap for European integration that would not run counter to Eurasian integration.

“We will try to continue the policy of “both … and ….”. We will cooperate with the Customs Union which stems from our interests and also display activity in European integration issues because European values and European integration in general stem from our course and the interests of our people,” H. Abrahamyan said.
