Armenian president congratulates Aznavour on his 90th birthday

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan today sent a congratulatory message to the great singer Charles Aznavour in connection with his 90th birthday, the presidential press service said. The message reads:

“Dear Charles!

I cordially congratulate you on your 90th birthday.

You are a great art worker, a great Armenian and a great man. Each meeting with you is a grand occasion for us. We are proud of being your contemporaries and we enjoy your presence, your song and your word.

I was deeply impressed by your magnificent jubilee concert in Yerevan.

I congratulate you again on the glorious anniversary and I wish you, the most renowned Armenian in the world, good health and new achievements in your creative life and public and political activities”.
