Hovik Abrahamyan receives UN Resident Coordinator for Armenia

Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received today UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative for Armenia Bradley Buzetto, according to the press office of the government.

B. Buzetto thanked Hovik Abrahamyan for including issues of SME development, fight against corruption, and human rights protection in the list of government priorities.

The prime minister and the UN resident coordinator underlined the importance of joint reforms on border management, modernization of checkpoints, and territorial administration. They discussed further work in these directions.

The head of government spoke about the activities aimed id developing small and medium business, noting that discussions on resolution of the existing problems and introduction of new mechanisms are underway.

The interlocutors also addressed assistance given by the UN Office to refugees and some other issues.
