Armenian prison inmate dies of brain injury

46-year-old Artavazd Goharyan died in ‘Kosh’ penal institution on May 19. The head of the press service of Armenian Justice Ministry’s Criminal Executive Department Gor Glechyan confirmed this information during a talk with Aysor.am.

“A post-mortem examination will be carried out to determine the cause of death,” he said.

The director of Ashtarak city medical center told ‘Zhoghovurd’ paper that Goharyan died of a brain injury.
