Passenger dies in car crash in Lori province

Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) received information at 9:35 pm yesterday about a car accident near Bazum village in Lori province. A rescue team was sent to the scene.

It turned out that a Mercedes left the roadway at 3rd kilometer of Vanadzor-Stepanavan motorway. The car fell into a river. A passenger, 29, died on the spot.

The driver was taken to Vanadzor hospital before rescuers’ arrival. He is in critical condition, MES said.
