Seyran Ohanyan discusses cooperation with Russian defense minister

A delegation of Armenian Defense Ministry led by Minister Seyran Ohanyan attended the 3rd International Security Conference in Moscow, according to the press service of Defense Ministry.

During the visit to Moscow, Seyran Ohanyan also had several meetings with counterparts from other countries. Issues related to international and regional security were discussed at those meetings, in particular at the meeting with Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehghan.

Issues of bilateral military and military-technical cooperation were discussed during the meeting with Russian Defense Minister Army General Sergei Shoigu. The two defense ministers signed Protocol No 1 on Amendments to the Protocol of October 3, 2012 between the Governments of Russia and Armenia on Points of Deployment of the Russian Military Base in the Territory of the Republic of Armenia.
