Passenger killed in two-vehicle crash on Ashtarak-Etchmiadzin Highway

Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia (MES) received information at 11:50 pm May 30 about a road accident near a filling station on Ashtarak-Etchmiadzin Highway, according to the press service of MES.

A rescue team of MES was sent to the scene.

It turned out that a Mercedes and an Opel collided on the highway, near Dvin Restaurant. Prior to rescuers’ arrival, the driver of Mercedes and three passengers of Opel were taken to Etchmiadzin city hospital. One of the passengers died in the hospital, another was transported to Yerevan’s Erebuni Medical Center. That person is in serious condition, the other victims’ condition is satisfactory.
