Serzh Sargsyan attends St. Grigor Narekatsi Church consecration

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan attended today the consecration of St. Grigor Narekatsi Church in the city of Armavir, according to the presidential press service.

The groundbreaking ceremony of the church took place in 2012 and was presided over by Primate of the Armavir Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Bishop Sion Adamyan. The church was designed by architect Mikael Mkrtchyan. Benefactor Karen Mkrtchyan sponsored its construction.
