B. Sahakyan: Baku’s bellicose policy hinders conflict resolution

President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan met in Yerevan today with the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Head of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs Didier Burkhalter, the press service of the NKR President’s Office reported.

Issues related to the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict settlement and regional processes were discussed at the meeting.

The president of the NKR stressed that official Baku’s bellicose policy is the biggest obstacle to the conflict resolution. He underlined the importance of steps to be taken by the international community such as condemnation of Azerbaijan and making it follow a constructive path.

Bako Sahakyan reiterated official Stepanakert’s position to resolve the conflict by peaceful means only and restore the full-fledged format of negotiations within the OSCE Minsk Group framework.

NKR Foreign Minister Karen Mirzoyan, Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk and other officials participated in the meeting.
