SFSS fines Moskvichka supermarket
The State Food Safety Service (SFSS) of Armenian Agriculture Ministry completed its scheduled inspections in Moskvichka supermarket yesterday, SFSS spokeswoman Armine Sukiasyan told Aysor.am. According to her, administrative fines will be imposed on the supermarket as the checks revealed that some foodstuffs in Moskviuchka had little or no information on their packaging. Their sale was suspended and the supermarket was instructed to eliminate the shortcomings.
The spokeswoman said the SFSS still has to determine the amount of fines.
A few days ago there was an argument between supermarket employees and reporters who found a piece of glass in the rice bag they bought in the supermarket. When the reporters presented facts about that, security guards tried to prevent them from leaving the store.
