Serzh Sargsyan visits British embassy

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan sent today a congratulatory message to Queen Elizabeth II and British Prime Minister David Cameron on the occasion of a national holiday – the official birthday of Queen Elizabeth II, the presidential press service reported.

Serzh Sargsyan extended congratulations to Queen Elizabeth II, the royal family and the people of Great Britain. He expressed confidence that the developing Armenian-British relations will continue to expand and deepen for the good of the two nations.

In his congratulatory message to Prime Minister David Cameron, S. Sargsyan said that joint efforts will allow strengthening the friendly relations between Armenia and the United Kingdom and creating new prospects for the further development of mutually beneficial cooperation in both the bilateral and multilateral formats. In his message, the Armenian president wished well-being and lasting progress to the UK.

The Armenian president visited today the British embassy in Armenia. He congratulated British Ambassador Catherine Leach and the embassy staff, wishing them success in their activities aimed at strengthening and promotion of Armenian-British ties.
