Armenian president to visit Georgia on June 18
On Wednesday, June 18 Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan will pay an official visit to Georgia where he will meet the top leaders of the country, the presidential press service reported.
Serzh Sargsyan is expected to meet with Georgian President Georgy Margvelashvili. The meeting will be followed by a meeting of the official delegations of the two countries and a ceremony of signing documents on the development and deepening of Armenian-Georgian cooperation. Presidents Sargsyan and Margvelashvili will summarize the results of talks at a joint press conference.
The Armenian president will also meet the Georgian parliament speaker David Usupashvili and Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili.
Serzh Sargsyan will lay a wreath at the Memorial Complex in Heroes Square of Tbilisi.
The Armenian president will also attend a gala concert dedicated to the 300th anniversary of Sayat Nova in Tbilisi’s Shota Rustaveli State Academic Theatre.
