Iskandaryan: Armenia may not sign document on EaEU entry on July 1
At a meeting with reporters today, the Director of the Caucasus Institute, political scientist Alexander Iskandaryan expressed doubts that Armenia will sign the agreement on accession to the Eurasian Economic Union (EaEU) on July 1.
According to him, there are some technical problems as well as problems between founding states of the Union.
“The Armenian side is now developing a roadmap and legal documents on its accession to the EaEU,” Iskandaryan said. In his opinion, the Syrian events in which Turkey is interfering and the developments in Iran cannot but affect Armenia.
