Hovhannisyan: Enemy tried to surround an Armenian position

Azerbaijani military units attempted today a subversive act in the direction of Armenia’s Tavush province. Armenian Defense Ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan gave some details on his Facebook page.

“Around 3:00 pm today the enemy attempted to carry out subversive reconnaissance actions in the northeastern direction of Armenia’s state border, near the village of Aygedzor in Tavush province.

The enemy tried to surround a position of the Armenian armed forces.

The subversive attempt was foiled by the frontline units of Armenian armed forces.

The Armenian side suffered no casualties,” Artsrun Hovhannisyan wrote.
