Driver dies in crash in Vayots Dzor province

Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) received information around 7:30 pm on July 1 about a car accident near Agarakadzor village in Armenia’s Vayots Dzor province.

A rescue team of MES was sent to the scene.

It turned out that two VAZ passenger cars collided at 4th km of H-40 Interstate Highway’s Yeghegnadzor-Agarakadzor section, as a result of which one of the cars overturned.

One of the drivers was hospitalized prior to rescuers’ arrival. He is in satisfactory condition. Rescuers removed the body of the other driver, aged 64, from the second car.
