Preferential regime envisaged for Armenian migrant workers in Russia
At the session today the Armenian government approved the draft agreement with Russia about a preferential regime of Armenian migrant laborers’ stay in Russia. The draft agreement was submitted by the Head of the State Migration Service Gagik Yeganyan, according to the press office of the government.
By the agreement, on their arrival in Russia, Armenian citizens may stay in that country for 30 days without registration. It is a bilateral agreement whose provisions also apply to Russian citizens visiting Armenia.
