Nairi Hunanyan undergoes surgery

As was reported earlier, life-term prisoner Nairi Hunanyan underwent surgery yesterday.

He was diagnosed with acute paraproctisis and abscess. The surgery went successfully, according to Armenian Justice Ministry’s Criminal Executive Department.

Around 5 pm on October 27, 1999 five armed men led by Nairi Hunanyan broke into the session hall of Armenia’s National Assembly and shot dead 8 people.
