L. Alaverdyan: Armenia does not have foreign-policy doctrine

Armenia has not had its foreign-policy doctrine since the declaration of independence, the first Ombudsperson of Armenia, head of Against Legal Arbitrariness NGO Larisa Alaverdyan told reporters today.

In her words, the foreign policy of Armenia raises concern.

“We are now under the influence of Russia’s foreign-policy doctrine,” she said, indicating the personnel policy of Armenia in the sphere as a consequence of this.

According to another speaker at the press conference, Ms. Karine Danielyan, many in the sphere prefer to keep silent because almost everyone knows the truth, but a lie repeated several times may eventually be accepted as the truth.
