Raffi Hovannisian: Education minister’s advisor was messenger of NSS agent

At a meeting with journalists today, the leader of Heritage Party Raffi Hovannisian condemned the attempt made by an agent by Armenia’s National Security Service (NSS) to recruit Heritage member, journalist Hrayr Manukyan.

“It is a dangerous and illegal phenomenon, and it was accompanied by personal threats. It is painful to see a member of our party being terrorized by unelected authorities. We condemn this phenomenon,” R. Hovannisian said.

According to him, H. Manukyan today applied to Prosecutor General’s Office and the Office of Armenian Ombudsman to file an application about the crime.

Raffi Hovannisian said that the education and science minister’s advisor was the messenger of that agent of the National Security Service.
