Edward Nalbandyan attends parade on Bastille Day
Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan today attended a military parade held in Paris in connection with the 100th anniversary of World War I and the national holiday of France - the Bastille Day. High-ranking delegations from about 80 countries were present at the festivity, Armenian Foreign Ministry said.
Among the parade participants were the standard bearers of the Armenian armed forces’ honor guard company - as representatives of a country involved in WWI.
The festivities to mark the 100th anniversary of WWI will last until November 11, the day when First Armistice at Compiegne was signed.
