NKR president receives Diaspora youths

President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan received a group of young people who came to Artsakh as part of a summer student program organized by the Armenian Assembly of America (AAA), the press service of the NKR President Office said.

At the meeting Bako Sahakyan informed the students about the process of state building in Artsakh, the main indices of the republic’s socioeconomic development, the foreign policy of Artsakh, and regional developments.

The president of NKR stressed the importance of consistent strengthening of the ties with the Diaspora, indicating the role of visits paid by Diaspora Armenian youths to Armenia and Artsakh and of their stay and activities in the historic homeland.

AAA Regional Director for Armenia and NKR Armina Darbinyan and other officials participated in the meeting.
