Armavir mayor transferred from ICU to ward

Armavir city mayor Ruben Khlghatyan who was wounded when a car was blown up by a mine in Nagorno Karabakh has been transferred today from the intensive care unit to a ward, Yerevan’s Erebuni Medical Center spokeswoman Shushan Hunanyan told Aysor.am.

According to her, the two other wounded men remain in ICU and their condition is serious. One of them, Garnik Avetisyan, suffered a spinal fracture and will undergo surgery. The other man, Arthur Baghdasaryan, suffered broken ribs and a lung injury.

A Toyota Prado was blown up by a mine in Kashatagh region of Nagorno Karabakh yesterday. The driver was killed, while three passengers received injuries and were transported by helicopter to Yerevan.
