Soldiers posthumously awarded medals by Armenian president’s decrees

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan signed today decrees posthumously awarding medals to several soldiers for courage during the defense of the Fatherland’s state borders and their fidelity to duty, the presidential press service said.

Senior Sergeant Zorik Gevorgyan was awarded the Combat Cross Medal 2nd class, and Private Asat Asoyan, Lieutenant Gor Grigoryan and Sergeant Ararat Zonoyan were awarded the Medal “For Service in Battle”.

By another presidential decree, the Medal “For Courage” was awarded to Private Norayr Kamalyan.
