NATO supports peaceful settlement of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
NATO is concerned about the escalation of tension on the Contact Line of Azerbaijani and Armenian armies, NATO Liaison Officer in South Caucasus William Lahue told reporters in Baku on August 5, according to Trend news agtency.
He underscored that the escalation of tension on the Contact Line poses a threat not only to Azerbaijan and Armenia, but also to the stability of the whole region. Lahue added that the sides should take measures to reduce tension on the Contact Line.
Lahue said that NATO supports a peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
