Parliament to issue statement over border situation

The six factions of Armenia’s National Assembly will issue a joint statement today concerning the situation on the border with Azerbaijan, Aysor.am was informed by parliamentary deputy of Heritage faction Tevan Poghosyan.

“The six factions’ heads are now working on the text of that statement. It is expected to be ready by the evening,” he said.

As was reported earlier, Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan met with representatives of the parliamentary factions yesterday, informing them about the border situation. An agreement was reached that NA deputies will visit frontline positions.
