Azerbaijan violated ceasefire 95 times in two days

On August 6 and early August 7 Azerbaijani troops violated 39 times the ceasefire at various sections of the state border with Armenia. 546 shots were fired from guns of various calibers at Armenian positions, according to the press service of Armenian Defense Ministry. The Armenian side returned the fire 8 times, 232 shots were fired.

On August 5-6 Azerbaijan violated 56 times the ceasefire on the state border with Armenia.

“According to latest information, on August 5-6 Azerbaijani troops fired 7,175 shots at Armenian positions. The Armenian side returned the fire 28 times, with 5,025 shots being fired,” Defense Ministry said.

The Armenian side did not suffer casualties.

“The Armenian armed forces observe the ceasefire and resort to retaliatory measures only in case of aimed fire of the enemy,” Armenian Defense Ministry said.
