Meeting of Presidents of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia planned in Sochi

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan will pay a working visit to Sochi on August 8 where a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin will take place on August 9, the press service of Armenian president reported.

The Armenian side expressed a willingness to hold also a trilateral meeting with Presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan during the visit to discuss issues related to a peaceful resolution to the Karabakh problem as well as the current situation that formed due to the recent escalation of tension by Azerbaijan.

“Being sure that there is no alternative to a peaceful and fair resolution to the Karabakh conflict, the Armenian side has always been in favor of holding meetings at the highest level,” the presidential press service said.
