K. Leach: Result of presidents’ meeting, not venue, is important

I hope that the meeting of Armenian and Azerbaijani presidents in Soch will help defuse tension on the border, British Ambassador to Armenia Katherine Leach told reporters today.

According to her, the only thing they can do today is to support the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs’ efforts.

The result of the meeting of Presidents Sargsyan and Aliyev, rather the venue for the meeting, is of importance, the British ambassador said adding that they are looking forward to that meeting.
