Armenian MFA: Azerbaijan’s barbaric style typical of notorious terrorists

“We are shocked by the murder of Tavush province resident Karen Petrosyan in Baku. We express our condolences to his family and friends,” Armenian Foreign Ministry spokesman Tigran Balayan said.

“Presenting a young villager as a saboteur and humiliating him in various ways contradicts all the principles of international law and morals. It is outrageous in itself and in terms of the extent of cynicism with which it was presented to the public,” Tigran Balayan told RFE/RL.

“Such a barbaric style is typical of notorious terrorists who first humiliate a hostage in front of a camera and then kill him. Azerbaijan is contrasting itself to the international community day by day, continuing to trample upon universal values.
