Azerbaijan states about trilateral meeting, Yerevan does not agree yet

The meeting of Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Serzh Sargsyan and Ilham Aliyev, with the participation of Russian President Vladimir Putin will be held tomorrow on August 10, Deputy Chief of the Presidential Administration, head of the Foreign Relations Department Novruz Mamedov wrote on Twitter.

Vladimir Putin’s separate meetings with the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan will take place today.

Armenia has not yet given an official consent to a meeting with Azerbaijani president.

In the next statement on Twitter, N. Mamedov said that “progress in negotiations depends on a constructive approach of the Armenian president”.

One can assume that to official Baku, a constructive approach consists in humiliation and murder of an Armenian captive as well as attempted reconnaissance sabotage raids of Azerbaijani troops hours before the possible meeting of the presidents.
