Lavrov: Armenia’s entry into CU not to be complicated by Karabakh conflict

The Karabakh conflict will not hinder Armenia’s entry into the Customs Union, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told reporters following the trilateral meeting of Presidents of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan in Sochi today, ITAR-TASS said. Ways of resolving the Nagorno Karabakh conflict were discussed at the meeting.

“Armenia will join the Customs Union as Armenia. Nagorno Karabakh has nothing to do with that, which was repeatedly mentioned by Armenian president,” Lavrov stated.
