Driver injured in crash on Ashtarak-Yerevan highway

Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) received information around 6:10 am today about a road accident on Ashtarak-Yerevan Highway.

A rescue crew was sent to the scene, MES said. It turned our that an Opel Astra and an Opel Vectra had collided. Opel Vectra’s driver, 45, received injuries and was taken to Ashtarak city hospital and then to Armenia Medical Center in Yerevan. He is in critical condition.
