Armen Rustamyan: Format of four factions to be retained

The four non-government factions of Armenian parliament – ARFD, Prosperous Armenia, Armenian National Congress, and Heritage factions - held a regular meetings today.

The head of ARF-Dashnaktsutyun faction Armen Rustamyan said during a briefing that the format of “the four” will be retained, moreover, their agenda now includes 8 main issues, and the factions do not share the same approach only to one issue – the constitutional reforms.

“The format of the four factions will remain as long as we are in agreement over the seven issues. As regards cooperation, we said that we are ready to cooperate with forces that will agree to accept the package of our proposals. The package will also be submitted to the authorities,” Rustamyan noted.

According to him, the issue of holding joint rallies was also discussed at the meeting, but he did not find it expedient to speak about it at the moment.

“We decided at the meeting that we need to summarize the results in our parties. The discussion proved useful,” Rustamyan said.
