Hraparak: Suren Khachatryan already forms team

Discussing the recent resignation of Syunik province governor Vahe Hakobyan and the possible appointment of Suren Khachatryan to that post, ‘Hraparak’ paper writes:

“It appears that following the murder of Avetik Budaghyan and his brother Artak Budaghyan’s attempted murder, Suren Khachatryan was not dismissed, but was made to take a vacation in order to return and serve the regime - in this sense he is irreplaceable”.

The paper’s sources in Goris say that Suren Khachatryan is already forming a team from his old acquaintances and new persons. In particular, a historian was offered the post of deputy governor. “They say he has compiled a list of needs of those people whom he can win over to his side. In short, passions are rising in Khachatryan’s home,” the paper says.
