Ter-Petrosyan, Tsarukyan discuss results of cooperation
A meeting of the leader of Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) Gagik Tsarukyan and the first Armenian President, leader of the opposition Armenian National Congress (HAK) Levon Ter-Petrosyan took place Tuesday, September 9, the press service of BHK reported.
The meeting participants also included representatives of the two political forces: Vartan Oskanian (BHK), Naira Zohrabyan (BHK), Stepan Margaryan (BHK), Levon Zurabyan (HAK), Aram Manukyan (HAK) and Avetis Avagyan (HAK).
The results of cooperation of four non-government factions of the Armenian parliament – ARF-Dashanktsutyun, BHK, HAK and Heritage Parties, as well as issues related to staging a joint rally were discussed at the meeting.
The two large political forces of Armenia reaffirmed their positions about the inadmissibility of changing the government model of Armenia through constitutional reforms in the current situation. They also underlined the importance of joint trips to Armenian provinces to inform citizens about the common agenda and rally them around it.
