V. Aivazyan: Suren Khachatryan does not inspire anyone with fear

The parliamentary deputy from Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) faction Vardan Aivazyan said at a meeting with reporters today that he has no intention of making forecasts about the new candidates for Syunik province governor because there is no point in that.

The deputy called the appointment of Syunik ex-governor Vahe Hakobyan as chairman of the State Water Management Committee a “promotion”.

"Vahe Hakobyan is a trained man, and the State Water Management Committee is a larger organization than the regional administration of Syunik,” he said.

As for rumors that Suren Khachatryan may become again Syunik governor, V. Aivazyan said: “I think that Suren Khachatryan, his behavior do not inspire anyone with fear. Besides, when he fought the enemy during the war, he was presented flowers nationwide, but now he is pelted with stones, also nationwide”.
