V. Baghdasaryan: HHK has no intention to split ranks of “four”
The Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) has no intention of splitting the ranks of the four non-government parliamentary forces, the head of HHK faction Vahram Baghdasaryan said in a briefing today.
According to him, the political majority aims to create a serious atmosphere for talks.
“Quite the opposite, we want to create comfortable conditions for the four forces so that constructive discussions could take place,” he said, noting that not only ideological, but also political differences exist among the political forces making up “the four”.
Speaking about the constitutional reforms, the HHK faction head said their party came to the conclusion that these reforms are timely.
As for the stance of Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK), Baghdasaryan said that although at one time BHK declared that it was opposed to a change in the government model, it became obvious after BHK leader Gagik Tsarukyan’s interview that it is still necessary to wait a bit.
‘When the documents are ready and the package of constructive proposals presented, then everything will be clear – they could speak in favor,” he noted.
