Aram Manukyan: Serzh Sargsyan is calamity for Armenia

Emigration is one of the most pressing problems in Armenia: citizens aged between 20 and 50, mostly men, are leaving the country, and the number of single women is on the rise, the secretary of Armenian National Congress (HAK) faction Aram Manukyan said at the joint rally of three non-coalition forces in Yerevan today.

“Armenia is gradually disappearing from the regional map. I am concerned about the fact that 30% of schools have less than 100 pupils. It is a result of these authorities’ idiotic policy,” Manukyan said.

According to him, Serzh Sargsyan is a calamity for Armenia. “There is no place for his team in our country. The issue of an immediate change of power is conditioned by this. Armenia is facing a serious problem of national security,” Manukyan said.
