Azerbaijan hands over Karen Petrosyan’s body to Armenia

Azerbaijan today handed over the body of Armenian citizen Karen Petrosyan to the Armenian side, Aysor.am was informed by Armenian Defense Ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan.

The handover took place on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, near the village of Kayan.

Karen Petrosyan, a resident of Chinari village in Armenia’s Tavush province, crossed into Azerbaijani territory on August 7 after he lost his way. The following day, on August 8 the Azerbaijani side announced a “sudden death” of 31-year-old Karen Petrosyan.
